Well the GOP line regarding that kind of thing in the past was that the participants managed to acquire some useful skills so they should be grateful...I think he did actually say that? Suggesting that people with gender studies or black studies degrees should do the work in the fields or the factories to replace migrant workers.
Perhaps a harvesting and labouring skills laboratory should be a compulsory part of any black studies degree?
Trump has had a very fine phone call with the president of San Seriffe, and will have a trade deal in place in two weeks. Also deporting angels as one of the DOGE tech tots heard "san seraph" is good.
Sent them a letter too. So the deal is sealed!Trump has had a very fine phone call with the president of San Seriffe, and will have a trade deal in place in two weeks.
The White House said:ICE Remains Undeterred in Getting Dangerous Criminal Illegals Off Our Streets
The brave men and women of ICE are under siege by deranged Democrats - but undeterred in their mission. Every day, these heroes put their own lives on the line to get the worst of the worst - criminal illegal immigrant killers, rapists, gangbangers, and other violent criminals - off our streets and out of our neighborhoods.
pi.ai said:As of June 15, 2025, approximately 71.7% of people held in ICE detention had no criminal record, and more than 75% of people booked into ICE custody in fiscal year 2025 had no criminal conviction other than an immigration or traffic-related offense.
Additionally, the number of people in ICE detention without criminal convictions nearly doubled in the last month, which is a significant increase compared to detainees who have been convicted of crimes.
These figures suggest that a large portion of ICE detainees are people who have not been convicted of any criminal offense, and that the proportion of detainees with pending criminal charges may be relatively low.
Residents of sanctuary cities tend not to vote Republican - indeed states with sanctuary cities tend to lean Democrat.

tbh, I'm skeptical of using chatbots as sources due to how they still frequently get stuff wrong. I was able to find a source for the criminal record claim really quickly, but still. This smacks of pure propaganda:

It's called "flooding the zone [with feces]". It's a Bannon tactic. Given the latest "outrageous move", can you remember what the leading Trump-generated crisis was this time last week? LA riots? Tariffs? Insulting allies? Bombing Iran? Without referring back down this thread, I can't be specific either. So how about a month ago? Three months ago? Yeah...
Nobody remembers specifically unless they are keeping a list, especially MAGA. And that's the point. These Trumpy outrages don't accumulate. Each just fades into the memory when a new one is pushed out the Xcreta-hole. Not that Trump does anything much with most of them. They are mostly hot air and bait. All the bad stuff this administration does is decided and enacted not by Trump but by the fascist backroom psychopaths, hidden by these stupid smokescreens Donny throws up each day. And the media gobble it up...![]()
Over here, I think they call that 'throwing another dead cat on the table'.

Will it abide by the letter of the law?Trump has had a very fine phone call with the president of San Seriffe, and will have a trade deal in place in two weeks.
I am assuming here that "collateral arrests" will be the arresting of people who protest or impede the invasion, and that's really more the point of the exercise. Come storming in to some park or other gathering, threaten everyone, make a bunch of arrests for impeding an investigation or assaulting an officer, and it doesn't really matter even if you lose all the cases. If the process of arresting is dangerous and harmful enough, it doesn't matter if you're legally wrong every time, as long as you can count on qualified immunity and cronies on the courts not to stop you from operating. Eventually the mayhem and the fear of further abuse and injustice will subdue the people.
Operations like the ICE and National Guard raid on MacArthur Park are ostensibly about immigration, but ultimately they're aimed at us all.
Oh, sure, crossing the "t"s and dotting the "i"s, but no more fancy stuff than that. Will it abide by the letter of the law?
If he meant using deliberate wrongful arrests as intimidation then that would likely be actionable, but if it just means impatiently scooping up anyone who tries to intervene then he can probably get away with it.i assumed they meant arresting indiscriminately and the collaterals were innocent people

Sure. Let's not forget ICE are the real victims here. We must never forget the brave ICE agents whoThis smacks of pure propaganda:

Unfortunately about half of the US population is buying it.Sure. Let's not forget ICE are the real victims here. We must never forget the brave ICE agents whogave their liveswere sometimes made to feel unwelcome while gallantly defending their anonymity and selflessly bundling anyone who looked a bit Mexican into an unmarked black SUV to be whisked off to some remote detention camp. Blah blah criminals murderers blah blah is anyone buying this ◊◊◊◊?
