Trump's Second Term

Wannabe dictator can't function like every president before:
KKKaroline Leavitt: “America cannot function if President Trump has to deal with co-equal branches of government having the ability to check his power.”

This will be a good thing to read out at her trial for treason.

I can find no reference to that quote. I believe the actual quote from her May 29 briefing was
“America cannot function if President Trump, or any other president for that matter, has their sensitive diplomatic or trade negotiations railroaded by activist judges.”
Which is nearly as insidious, but for some reason social media warriors love to invent quotes and nobody bothers to fact check.

Mmm. Apparently several House Republicans are claiming that they regret voting yes for that abomination of a bill. MTG, Perry, and Flood, for example. They claim that they've since learned of provisions that they claim to now oppose in it. While it's a nice claim, I have a simple response to that.

WASHINGTON—Making sure the pair were sitting down before she delivered the news, White House chief of staff Susie Wiles reportedly told the Trump boys Friday that their Uncle Elon had been blown up in a rocket accident. “Boys, your father wanted me to tell you that you won’t be seeing your Uncle Elon anymore because he is now in a million pieces,” said Wiles, who paused momentarily to watch as Eric, the youngest Trump boy, buried his head in his hands and burst into tears, and his brother Don Jr. screamed in agony, complaining that their uncle had promised to show them Debbie Does Dallas. “Unfortunately, he’s in hell now. It was a spectacular accident—blood and fire everywhere—but that’s the risk of going to space. Don’t worry, I’m sure he felt a lot of pain.” At press time, sources reported the sniffling Trump boys were wondering who was going to teach them the N-word now.

A Ball Room?

How big are his balls?

“It never got built because nobody previously had any knowledge or experience in doing such things”

Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump
Just inspected the site of the new Ballroom that will be built, compliments of a man known as Donald J. Trump, at the White House.
For 150 years, Presidents, and many others, have wanted a beautiful Ballroom, but it never got built because nobody previously had any knowledge or experience in doing such things But I do, like maybe nobody else, and it will go up quickly, and be a wonderful addition, very much in keeping with the magnificent White House itself.
These are the "fun" projects I do while thinking about the World Economy, the United States, China, Russia, and lots of other Countries, places, and events.
It will all be good, maybe even GREAT, depending on who is the President of the U.S.A.!

A ballroom? Has he ever had a look around DC architecture?

What a stupid, clueless, ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ moron. What an embarrassment.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia Returned to U.S. After Indictment on Human Smuggling Charges

Mississippi Free Press said:
The U.S. Justice Department says Kilmar Abrego Garcia has been returned to the U.S. after indictment on human smuggling charges.

Abrego Garcia, whose wrongful deportation to El Salvador became a political flashpoint in the Trump administration’s stepped-up immigration enforcement, faces charges in what the Trump administration alleges was a massive human smuggling operation that brought immigrants into the country illegally.

It appears the only "human smuggling" Garcia did was transport people from one construction site to another.

The charges stem from a 2022 vehicle stop in which the Tennessee Highway Patrol suspected him of human trafficking. A report released by the Department of Homeland Security in April states that none of the people in the vehicle had luggage, while they listed the same address as Abrego Garcia.

Abrego Garcia was never charged with a crime, while the officers allowed him to drive on with only a warning about an expired driver’s license, according to the DHS report. The report said he was traveling from Texas to Maryland, via Missouri, to bring in people to perform construction work.

I'm reminded of British politics when George "Iain Duncan" Smith stood in the House of Commons and said explicitly that no further time should be spent scrutinising Alexander "Boris" Johnson's Brexit Bill because everyone had spent too much time on it already and knew exactly what it contained, only to later repudiate it on the grounds he didn't in fact know what it contained.
