Trump's Second Term

For him bigger is always better, it's all about show. Of course if he wanted the biggest aircraft he'd be better off with an Airbus 380.

I hadn't really considered the practicality aspect of such a large plane as the 747. There is a minimum size for the level of luxury and number of people AF1 needs to carry but I'd have thought that a Dreamliner would be adequate (and be much cheaper to run).

Then again some right wingers seem to revel in having less efficient machines so maybe a Dreamliner is absolutely not what he wants.
Bordering on a derail, but I have flown on pretty much all passenger aircraft, and love the 380 to death. But there’s a reason that it’s being phased out.

If I was an oligarch I would be perfectly happy with a 777.

The 747 is older tech than the 757 he already owns. They are long out of production and have been phased out of passenger transport for some years now. It's the vintage truck of the skies. Trump just wants it because it's big. He said as much. He thinks he will win some pointless international willy-waving contest with it.

Lutnick: We will build these automated high-tech factories of the future. These AI things suck water. They need a plumber but not a plumber plumber. An HVAC specialist that starts in a 100 grand. We have to train people for the AI revolution.

They've really started to deliberately try to sound as dumb as Drumpf, haven't they.

Dumb is the new smart.

Like old-time Spanish courtiers adopting the king's lisp, you need to talk like you're six years old so you don't make the God-Emperor look mentally deficient by comparison. It's a genuine Idiocracy.

Anchor babies to be deported as soon as they pop out of the mom:
BREAKING: TRUMP’S UNCONSTITUTIONAL ATTACK ON BLACK AND BROWN! 😡 He calls us “anchor babies” and wants to DEPORT Americans born to immigrants—violating the 14th Amendment! 🔥Trump’s executive order axes Birthright Citizenship and pushes Red States to ARREST Americans without proof. Hospitals as checkpoints? His regime’s silent!

from Copilot:

“To "86" someone means to remove, reject, or eject them, often from a restaurant, bar, or establishment. The term originated in the hospitality industry, where it was used to indicate that an item was no longer available or that a customer should be refused service. Over time, it expanded to mean getting rid of someone or something in a broader sense.

There are several theories about its origin. Some suggest it comes from Prohibition-era speakeasies, where bartenders at Chumley's in New York City would be warned of impending police raids and told to "86" their customers—meaning they should exit through the back door. Others believe it stems from old restaurant slang, where "86" meant an item was out of stock. There's even a theory that it refers to mafia slang, meaning taking someone "eight miles out of town" and putting them "six feet under".

It's a fascinating piece of American slang with a bit of mystery behind it! Have you heard it used in an interesting way?”

I think the meaning is broad enough that in a sane world Comey has nothing to worry about.

What if the immigrant is now a US citizen?

Re: To ""86"
I think he would have been better off making a reference to Section 8 (in the military sense.)
In the U.S. military, "Section 8" historically referred to a specific category of discharge, primarily for individuals deemed mentally unfit for service. It was often associated with discharges for psychological unfitness or character traits deemed undesirable. While no longer used as a specific section number in current Army regulations, the term "Section 8" still carries a connotation of a negative discharge based on mental or psychological reasons.
