I think what he was trying to say is that “if it hasn’t rained for 18 months trees become very dry”. It still makes little to no sense.

I honestly think that dementia is hitting him quite hard.

I am guessing here that someone tried to explain to him that after a tree dies, it dries out and becomes flammable, and perhaps something about how dead conifers behave in a wildfire? And with the usual comprehension of a demented goldfish, it came out "trees last for 18 months and then they get dry and explode."

Next up, we're going to mine the national forests for beautiful clean firewood!

But, but, but...You just don't understand the masterful genius at work here, how he wraps his message in such a way as to enable it to subliminally slide into your brain without you consciously knowing that The Great Trump has communicated deeper meanings to you which you will only gradually realise as those incredible meanings, the best meanings, gently permeate your thoughts and you will inevitably became as one with The Donald...

Some small businesses told CBS News they're worried about the impact from the sharp increase in tariffs that they'll soon be required to pay to the federal government. After paying the levies, they said they'll be left with two choices: raise the prices they charge customers or swallow the costs and take a financial hit.

Small businesses, generally defined as enterprises with fewer than 500 employees and revenue of less than $7.5 million, account for almost half of all private-sector employment in the U.S. But they're also more vulnerable to tariff costs because they don't have the deep pockets or financial flexibility of large businesses, noted Aaron Terrazas, an economist at Gusto, which provides payroll and HR services to small and midsize businesses.

"For many small businesses, this is a one-two punch," Terrazas said. "They are getting higher prices from suppliers, and their customers are more skittish" just as they're grappling with heavier tariffs.

Yeah, that was incredibly weird. I know it's a thing on TikTok where you take someone else's vid and play it on your own channel while you show your face and reactions next to it, but that was just weird and awkward. Like Elon Musk-level awkward.
