Who are more problematic: those who engage in evil or those who excuse evil?

Trump and Musk (and many other world leaders and wealthy people) are clearly faulty humans. A product of bad genetic fortune and poor environment.

But what about those who know the difference, look the other way or even enable them?

Shouldn't every question from the press to the Whitehouse press secretary Karoline Leavitt be: "Has the president grabbed you by the pussy yet?"

How completely delicious that on the very day Trump hosted a Tesla car sales drive and promised to buy one (don't hold your breath waiting for payment of course) Tesla moaned that the Dear Leader's randomly thrashing around his tariff hammer was likely to harm their business.

One thing I hate about news nowadays is that every day The POSOTUS is the headline, together with a picture. And it's never anything good. I only ever catch mostly headlines now, as news always leads with BREAKING NEWS, they blurb the lede for a minute or so, then go to the panel to talk about it. I watch and read far less news now than I did a year ago.
 
Meanwhile, gold hit $3,000 (as I kick myself for selling some gold coins 10 yrs ago....)

Except he pronounced it "Tessler." Twice, with enunciation. I guess Tesslers are the ones made from raw earth. The President of the United States is a moron.

I keep joking about the revisionism in 1984 (replying with phrases like "post ungood ref unevents move to AAH"), but I wouldn't even be surprised if the next step once the fascists have sufficiently cowed the media will be to bully them into removing or even editing old articles to make them more favourable to the regime. The trumpkins have already made it a habit to pretend to not know what you're talking about when you criticize things he's said and done, actually editing news stories would just be a logical next step.
