Nah, he's going to fix it all with his brilliant genius. By creating a sovereign wealth fund to purchase TikTok, and convert the US from using dollars to using crypto! (That's what Musk's toyboys are doing in the Treasury right now.) The only problem is explaining to MAGA Grandma and Grandpa why their SS checks is in $Crapcoin$ instead of dollars, but there will be plenty of time waiting in the breadlines to explain it to them!

Trump added more to the national debt, by term, than any other president before him. Sure, Obama added 12 trillion, but it took him 8 years to do it. Trump added 8 trillion in four years and had nothing to show for it when he was done. Who knows what he'll spend on the country's credit card this term. Despite all the distractions in the name of cost cutting, he's spending more, a lot more, to do what Biden was doing before when it comes to deportations.

Everything the king does is lawful because lawfulness flows from the person of the king. And he extends this grace unto his servants for so long as they serve him. So if -- sorry, when-- the king allows his favorites to, say, send their own flunkeys to waltz into the Treasury and take over all the payment systems, that's perfectly lawful.

it all seems unwise, considering the threats and the fact that all it took to postpone the tariffs was canada simply doing what it had already agreed to do under biden. and now, the condescending victory lap the trump admin is taking by saying they are “bending the knee”

i mean, it’s all terrible for america. short term probably some benefit to trump, but when you’re that old and fat you’re probably always thinking short term.
