I get the feeling, and I might be wrong about this, but the GOP and this administration don't seem to give a flying ◊◊◊◊ about anyone but themselves and those that line their pockets.

The GOP has been tried to erode worker rights and safety for decades. Keeping workers safe is costly, therefore businesses don't do it unless a regulation tells them to. Regulatory agencies often overstep their bounds. Regulations often become bloated and sometimes apparently silly. But the answer is to reform the regulations through the rule making process, not to throw out all the regulations and inspectors.

I was laid off from a management position in logistics and a month later the facility was inspected by OSHA investigators, and numerous safety issues were found. My ex-boss had someone call me and fish around to see if it was me that reported them. I had not, but had a good idea who had. The problem with OSHA is that there just aren't enough inspectors, and even then, it seemed that enforcement was dependent on the current administration. The owner wasn't demure about his voting preferences, and what our's should be.

If it makes you feel any better, millions of the very dirt poorest men, women and children around the World will also be contributing, whether they like it or not, in some cases their very existence to ensure that Muskrat has even more money that he'll never get even close to spending.

In other words, he's not paying them enough to afford even one apartment split between the six of them.
 
No, they are so dedicated to the task they don't want to leave.

One of them is an unpaid volunteer it seems.
