Yep, then dissolve Congress, arrest Dems, close down the media, troops on the streets shooting protesters, war with Canada/Mexico/Panama/Greenland-Denmark, etc.
Today, Congressman Andy Biggs introduced the Nullify the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (NOSHA) Act, to abolish the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for usurping states' authorities and forcing Biden's vaccine mandate on the private sector.
I get the feeling, and I might be wrong about this, but the GOP and this administration don't seem to give a flying ◊◊◊◊ about anyone but themselves and those that line their pockets.Abolishing OSHA would have severe detrimental consequences on most Americans.
The GOP has been tried to erode worker rights and safety for decades. Keeping workers safe is costly, therefore businesses don't do it unless a regulation tells them to. Regulatory agencies often overstep their bounds. Regulations often become bloated and sometimes apparently silly. But the answer is to reform the regulations through the rule making process, not to throw out all the regulations and inspectors.I get the feeling, and I might be wrong about this, but the GOP and this administration don't seem to give a flying ◊◊◊◊ about anyone but themselves and those that line their pockets.
C'mon man, corporations have proven that they don't need no regulations of any kind, especially safety.
I was laid off from a management position in logistics and a month later the facility was inspected by OSHA investigators, and numerous safety issues were found. My ex-boss had someone call me and fish around to see if it was me that reported them. I had not, but had a good idea who had. The problem with OSHA is that there just aren't enough inspectors, and even then, it seemed that enforcement was dependent on the current administration. The owner wasn't demure about his voting preferences, and what our's should be.The GOP has been tried to erode worker rights and safety for decades. But not the rich ones.Abolishing OSHA would have severe detrimental consequences on most Americans.
Most relevant clip: Elon Musk is paying for his tax cuts with your Social Security.
The tariffs are big and splashy and will distract the rest of the world from the assault on American citizens by our own government, at the direction (and benefit) of the super-rich.
