I wish I had your optimism regarding the midterm elections. I fear that the combination of vote suppression, outright hostility to non MAGA voters and a right wing media saying everything is fantastic will mean that even if there are Democratic gains, they're very small.

What staggers me is just how dumb so many Trump supporters are. My neighbor is generally a nice guy. But absolutely believes that Trump cares about him. My neighbor has MS and needs a walker to get around. She cannot drive because the MS has strongly affected her vision. But she has no problem with openly supporting a president who thinks that disabled people are defective and inferior.
