I mean its not like putting a US flag on Mars would be that big a deal, I suspect most of the recent Mars rovers had one painted on them somewhere and if not just tack one on to the next mission. If he means putting a man on Mars, yeah that nots happening in the next 4 years/Trumps' lifetime, whichever proves to be shorter.

The official name change happened during President Obama's Presidency, and Trump is still determined to burn down everything associated with him. During Trump's first term, he asked the Senators and Representatives from Alaska if they wanted him to change the name back, and he literally couldn't understand why they said "no".
