I don't know if the army was enthusiastic about Donnie McBonespurs inevitably making the marking of their 250th anniversary all about him.

I predict it won't have been improved by his making a rambling, half-hearted and irrelevant address to West Pointers, telling them nobody wanted to join the army under Biden, which they all did, and then didn't stay to shake hands with them as previous presidents did.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, his gestapo were detaining and body cavity searching an officer's wife before jailing her until they were ready to deport her. And they decided not to allow the courtesy of a phone call, thereby missing an opportunity to tell him "Do you know what we're doing to your wife right now?"

Yeah, I do wonder what the mood in the army is right now.

I'm reminded of a nomination in one of the old Stundie threads. The nominee was talking about CPS (Child Protective Services) with the statement "there's a reason why they're called the Communist Pedophile Services".

I've always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY! He is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I'm not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever. I've always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that's proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia! Likewise, President Zelenskyy is doing his Country no favors by talking the way he does. Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don't like it, and it better stop. This is a War that would never have started if I were President. This is Zelenskyy's, Putin's, and Biden's War, not "Trump's," I am only helping to put out the big and ugly fires, that have been started through Gross Incompetence and Hatred.

Ironically, by slapping tariffs on everything, countries that might have purchased American weapons in the past might be more hesitant now that they see the US as an unreliable partner.

To poke at that a bit further... it's pretty well a given that they should already have the records they need on foreigner students attending Harvard and it would be downright weird if they had any real problem creating said list even if they didn't already have it handy. If there actually is a problem and Trump isn't just talking out of his arse again, that's either a huge ongoing government bureaucratic failing or a huge Trump Administration sabotage and incompetence causing the problem failing.

It does seem a lirtle odd that he knows exactly what percentage are foreigners while saying he doesn't have any information on who they are. And it's apparently 31 percent today, but I could have sworn it was 21 percent a couple of days ago. In a couple of weeks it will be 112 percent.

All the students in question have valid US student visas, which must surely have involved the US government already knowing their names, addresses, description, blood types and heights above sea level, etc., before they even landed in the country. Trump could have that list within minutes if he asked for it. Unless...DOGE has deleted that database, or Trump didn't even bother asking.

The situation here really is Trump is a demented, ignorant, mafiosa-wannabe arse who likes to threaten people who he thinks defy him.
