I actually think that he doesn't care; he can blame it on him not being on the ballots, and pretend that he would have won EVERTHING EVERYWHEREALL AT ONCE. He also appears to have reached the "the Russians Democrats have proved to be the stronger" stage and while I'm pretty certain that he's not the sort to reach for the Walther, there's probably an even chance that he'll propose to Melania.
