It's not real today. Ask again tomorrow ..Please someone reassure me that is not real.
<edit> AI assures me it is not real and was created as satire. But of course His Tackiness posted it because he does not see it as satire.

Yeah, he re-posted it on TS because he wants to do it. Or he's trollng, which is worse. He may be doing it now, for all we know.I hardly dare ask but is that real, or is he just fishing for reactions to what he wants to do to the memorial?
I mean, he could have painted in American flag blue rubber so I guess it could be worse, but once again my immediate reaction is, it's not his personal plaything to ruin with his own bad taste, but we already know he's exactly the sort of ◊◊◊◊ who would just do it anyway.
Please someone reassure me that is not real.

There had to be truckers in stupid red hats somewhere in the audience at that . . . whatever that was. Did they applaud like trained seals after this remark, forgetting the $6 plus per gallon they paid to fill up their rig earlier that dayTrump on his Iran war: "You have a higher gas -- it's a very inexpensive price to pay for what we've done. Remember that. It's a little more. Frankly, even if it was a lot more."
Thing is though, if Trump could wiggle his nose like Samantha Stevens, and magically drop gas prices, a significant number of those voters will forget all the rest of his ◊◊◊◊ and vote red in the mid-terms and beyond. Which is why the dems need to keep pounding the rest of the economic data.Conservatively, the Trump fuel price rises are costing USdriversvoters a couple of billion a week. And it's a lot of weeks since February.
OTOH, I'm advising my kids to investigate alternate citizenships. My grand kids are all girls and I don't trust this country to not go all christian nationalist. I firmly believe that my country is in an unrecoverable yaw until the final swing is a maga-like permanent regime. On the other, other hand, I have been known to be wrong. I hope that is the case here.Apropos of nothing: if America survives this administration, and the next one successfully starts the process of resetting all that needs to be reset, and ultimately we find ourselves back in a world of more or less rational governance -- just think of what America will have survived. That we kept ourselves from full-on fascism. That even deep descents into incompetence and corruption were overcome.
Assuming we're not permanently disabled, we'll have something to be, in a way, proud of. We didn't become Germany, or North Korea. Our Democracy had a terrible glitch but was resilient enough to right itself.
That will be significant. And I believe we're not so disabled that we can't get there.
Your Kumbaya of the day.
Yes, the adminstration is trying to do something about rising prices; that something is giving billionaires more stuff.
They pirated loaded ships.I'm still convinced they've gotten not one drop of oil from Venezuela. TACO's desparate boasting is strengthening my conviction.

Sadly, I believe the Democrats will not hold The Regime accountable for all of the corruption and lawbreaking, which will pave the way for Republicans to gain power back, at which point they will destry democracy. Trump is only in power now because the Dems failed to prosecute him and his mafia the last time.Apropos of nothing: if America survives this administration, and the next one successfully starts the process of resetting all that needs to be reset, and ultimately we find ourselves back in a world of more or less rational governance -- just think of what America will have survived. The fact that the US avoided full Third Reich will be seen as proof that there was no danger at all, and by the end of the next Presidency, the next Trump will be running and getting widespread support.Apropos of nothing: if America survives this administration, and the next one successfully starts the process of resetting all that needs to be reset, and ultimately we find ourselves back in a world of more or less rational governance -- just think of what America will have survived. It's not like Trump 1.0 wasn't a complete failure already.
AI voiced...naturally.
What a giant ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ mistake. Now, we can also certainly blame his concierge judge Cannon, and his sycophants on SCOTUS, but my dog, this guy should have been prosecuted back into the stone age.Sadly, I believe the Democrats will not hold The Regime accountable for all of the corruption and lawbreaking, which will pave the way for Republicans to gain power back, at which point they will destry democracy.
