Trump and Putin have ended the roles of Russia and the USA as military superpowers. China and India will not take over those roles, as Jinping has seen what has happened to the USA and Russia and Modi's India does not have the military power anyway. The knowledge that with some determination, organisation and some drones and missiles, smaller nations can at least hold superpowers at bay, is why there are no military superpowers.

So the solution to unwanted teen pregnancy was simply to tell them not to get pregnant. Why did nobody think of this before?

As I recall from my yooth a few decades ago, teen pregnancies were decried as something to be utterly avoided. Wimmins were supposed to keep their legs firmly crossed, stay off the evil pill, and "just say no". Because heaven forfend if you were an unmarried mother before you turned 20! Or even be a married teen mother!
There were exceptions, of course. Mormons could have as many teen brides impregnated as they liked. And rock-and-roll stars could marry 15-year-olds and have four sprogs before they were 21. It was a different world...
Trump-style Apprentice show is part of the administration's small business initiative. All-star cast; I'm sure Dean Cain has tens of followers on X. The show will tank in the ratings but Trump will claim they broke ratings records the likes of which nobody has seen.

Where did you get that analysis from? All Ukraine told us is that Russia is not, in fact, a military super power.
Iran doesn't show the US to not be a military super power. It shows that all the military might in the World won't help you if you do not have clear objectives and the political will to carry them out. This is not the first time that has happened. Vietnam comes to mind and Afghanistan for the USSR. If I had time, I could probably come up with similar examples for previous military super powers.

That's okay, I don't know the specifics of washing oil but from what I remember it requires seabirds and it's got to take a while to round up enough.
It also showed that the US military is still geared up to fight WWIII against a near peer opponent. That's not just a matter of failing to appreciate a changing world, its the massive military industrial interests who got fat on contracts for the next cutting edge high tech weapon that would show off US superiority to the USSR, or China, or Russia, and hey if some of those programs didn't produce anything useful there would always be another program in the pipeline.

I like our position now much better, with almost total control of the Hormuz Strait, and their economy totally collapsing.

It's his first comment I've seen for quite a while that suggests he thinks this will end with overthrow and regime change. It would perhaps explain why he keeps saying he is in no hurry to negotiate.
Maybe Emperor Bonespurs should ask himself when he personally would decide it was time to rise up and try to overthrow a murderously oppressive regime. Might make him think about negotiating again.
