Trump's Second Term

Can't find it, but there was a post about The POSOTUS extending the deployment until Jan 20, 2029 (his last day in office. Ostensibly...)
I'd think if he was "clever" he'd make the date just before the 2028 election (whether or not he intends to run). That way he can claim "I brought the troops home! No one else could do that!"

I think that was for the National Guard deployed in DC, wasn't it?

He needs them there to protect him from all his imaginary foes. While his real foes such as insulin resistance, kidney failure, chloresterol, and dementia are with him all the time.

I've had the displeasure of working under a few. One was so bad that I walked off into a worse paying one as I was seconds away from just lamping him.

"Trump's loyalty" is pretty inevitably a one way street leading towards Trump, after all. There is something to say about how certain foreign leaders have ways to take advantage of that, either way.

Sometimes all it takes is a ring to kiss. That is, an 18 carat watch-sized commemorative ring featuring 321 diamonds, 56 sapphires, 13 emeralds, and 6 rubies. Like Antwerp gave to him and then got a tarrif exemption. Just more fuel for impeachment hearings; there are going to be too many charges to choose from before too long.

Quibble: Rather than "playing decoy," which would imply that they were knowing and willing (which provides an easy out), it would be more accurate to say that they were "used as decoys." To say it in another and more direct way, though, they were unwilling civilians being used as a form of human shields, with the accompanying issues to that.

Watching FoxNews with Shannon Bream is always like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN.
I don’t know Shannon, but she always seems to pick guests, charts, and “polls” that are negative, never talking about all of the incredible things that the Trump Administration has done, like Total Border Control, the Most Successful Stock Market in History (81 Record Days in a year and a half!), Biggest Investment in our Country in History (19.2 Trillion Dollars!), breaking the Record by many times over, the Great Military Victories over Venezuela and the essential Denuclearization of Iran — The rest to follow! — The Lowest Crime Rate in Recorded History, the Lowest Murder Rate since 1900 — 125 years! — The Highest Number of People that have Jobs in the United States, EVER, the fact that the United States is more RESPECTED throughout the World than at any time in Memory, the Biggest Drop in Drug Prices, over 500%, than has ever been seen before, which will lead to tremendous SAVINGS in Healthcare, the Rebuilding of our Military, in my First Term, making it the Strongest in U.S. History, with the inclusion of Space Force, and so many other things!
Yet, week after week, I see Shannon “interviewing” hostile guests, and having losers like Juan Williams, who got fired like a dog from PBS, was thrown off of The Five for somebody even dumber than him, Jessica Tarlov, and when he saw me walking into the Headquarters of Fox, he went CRAZY, begging me for a picture — “Could I have a picture with you? It would be such a Great Honor!”
In any event, Shannon’s “show” is beyond redemption.
Fortunately, MAGA, which is close to 100% of the Republican Party, understands that, and watch her “Ratings” start to fall.
Chris Wallace was bad, but Shannon is even worse!
Oh well, it couldn’t have had too much of an impact, because I’m now heading back into the Oval Office to continue working on more TRIUMPHS and SUCCESSES for our Country!

Very happy to see that Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan have recently, and finally, signed the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement.
It shows how the Middle East is coming together, and how Countries will finally be able to defend themselves in a more meaningful way.
Congratulations to the Great Leadership of the three Nations mentioned.

Based on my very good relationship with Kim Jong Un, of North Korea, I am not happy with the fact that the United States has, long ago, agreed to participate in Joint Military Exercises with South Korea.
These exercises are not only costly, with much of these costs paid for by the United States of America (as usual!), but send a signal that is totally inappropriate and hostile, to a Country that, as long as Donald J. Trump has been President, has been unthreatening and respectful.
Therefore, and based on the fact that it is too late to cancel, I have instructed Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to substantially reduce the Joint Military Exercises!
While somewhat unrelated, I recently asked the President of South Korea if they would like to join us in the Denuclearization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and they said, “No thanks!”
