If they weren't so dumb they'd realize this was probably not the best image to go with that post --sitting on a fence is indeed what a lot of Americans are doing these days. With more and more jumping off on the anti-Drumpf side.

The World Democracy Index' next update keeps getting pushed back. It was supposed to be out in May, then June, then July. I'm looking forward to seeing where they will rank the US.

Granted, it'll be the US in 2025, not 2026, but still.

"Long blinking". Wow. Hilarious. Trump just likes to have a really good, looong, thorough blink now and then. Sure. Say, while we're on the subject, why doesn't he make those hilarious jibes about "sleepy Joe" Biden these days?

I recall the equivalent euphemism for UK politicians is "resting his eyes". Sounds almost plausible by comparison.
