This is the problem that won't go away even if Trump does, the sheer number of politicians and Judges in the USA willing to bow to a wannabe dictator and tow the line however many knots they have to tie themselves in to do it.

That's very true. I guess I just assumed that since a government agency was involved they would get paid, but with Trump behind the scenes I suppose it doesn't matter either way. He'll rip them off and then tell America how much money he saved by doing it...and a certain percentage of the population will cheer him on!

That is one unique advantage to solar.... its energy production tends to track demand (highest production in the day when we need the most, 0 production at night when nobody is using electricity.)

Compare that to (for example) coal or nuclear, where they are typically good generate a "base load", but you cannot throttle them back when demand is lower. Thus at night you have all these power plans that generate electricity that nobody needs.

I think that it may also be worth noting that wind and solar tend to have complimentary energy generation times. Solar obviously produces more in the day, while wind tends to produce notably more power at night. Given the normally lower demand at night, wind often serves the role of charging up batteries at night, while solar bears much of the heavier load during the day.

donald Trump the felon is suing Donald Trump the executive for 10 billion. The Supreme Court will allow it. He should get at least 1 billion, they will say. That should cover one Ballroom in DC and one Ballroom for his library.
