Maybe it was the women's decision?

If you were in a room with a creep like Donald "they will let you grab them" Trump, would you really want to turn your back to him? If I were them I would feel safer having him in front where they could keep an eye on him.

There's lots and lots and lots of precedent to work with, really. Short answer? Very little publicly once they feel that they can't milk it more for political advantage, but it'll still be treated as confirmed fact in the CT circles, so it just won't die. It's not like the ACORN crap ever died, for example, despite being disproved very, very comprehensively.

ETA: Looks like I was beaten to the punch with the ACORN note. It's also worth noting again that ACORN was destroyed by the false allegations and utterly dishonest hit job, though, even after such was proven to be total BS over and over and over... and that the right largely seems to consider that to be a victory. That really tells one all they need to know about the nature of their game.

That's the sort of outcome I expected by these baseless accusations.

The US media is only interested in the next sensational headline, not the news and certainly not the story from start to finish. So people like Bannon thrive because they can keep generating sensational fake headlines using Trump. While nobody gets to hear the truth at the other end.

Elizabeth Warren was on fire interviewing RFK.

She asked if Trump had approved Health department funds being spent on vanity videos to raise RFK's profile. And pointing out that there was more spending on RFK's personal profile than on advertising measles vaccination. Apparently RFK didn't realise that there were any videos of him shirtless at kid rock's fake whitehouse
