From May 2025US President Donald Trump is seeking $152m (£115m) to reopen the infamous Alcatraz prison as part of his proposed budget for the 2027 fiscal year.
The budget request is seeking money "to rebuild Alcatraz as a state-of-the-art secure prison facility", with funds covering the first year of costs.

THe downing of the F15 is in oure military terms not a huge thing.sad,of course, but in war you have to expect to take casaulties. And,frankly, to have just downed one US Jet in three weeks on fighting does not say much for Iran's Air Defense capability.
But it is a big psycholgical victory for Iran, and that is thanks largely for all the we are invnicible and invunerable crap that Trump and Hesgarth mouthed. ANybody with any knowledge about the realities of war knew that was total crap, but I guess it sounded good to Trump.
I am now convinced more then ever that there will be a ground war if no other reason then Trump cannot do a TACO here without looking ridicuos to most of the world and all but the hard core MAGAs in the US. And Trump usually doubles down.

The author of this blog really does not know much about the military.
I have no doubt we are heading for a ground war, but, frankly, you don't use C17 as the main traportation for a big military build up. Ships are much more efficient.
And the E4 B C 17's are useful for resupply, but a lousy way to carry heavy vehicals.
And I doubt the E4B is the "Doomsday Plane" if you mean "Looking Glass" the plane to be used n a nuclear crisis, but a normal E4B aerial command and control craft.
A good example of rigth conclusion, we are heading for a ground war, but lousy supporting evidence
A lot of pure nonsense crap about things military out there right now.
