Of course, and I note that a big chunk of the extra money is earmarked for Trump boondoggles like his battleships that couldn't hit the water before the mid 2030s assuming the program doesn't go off the rails the way every other US Navy procurement program this century has. It seems the USA has created such an expensive war machine that it can't actually afford to deploy it without risking financial ruin.

Did you miss the part where he is the one that determines who gets to have their ballots mailed in? His EO says only the list they create of "confirmed US citizens, elgible to vote" are allowed to vote throught the mail.

As they've made a big deal about in the past, they're honestly less concerned about controlling who votes than they are about controlling those who count the votes. This is rather brazenly one of the means of trying to control those who count the votes to change the count to favor them even more at the expense of Constitutionally-guaranteed voting rights to citizens.

You are an order of magnitude out thousands of millions; to be specific 15 thousand.

Like I have argued previously the problem isn't Europe spending too little on defence, it is the US spending too much on offence.

I should think a lot of that is restocking with the expensive munitions already expended rather than the cost of keeping going.

When you have the largest, most advanced military and you attack someone, you start with the clever, expensive stand-off munitions to take out key defences, then you can move in closer with shorter range weapons from your expensive, stealthy planes, and eventually you've worn them down so far you can fly over them with vulnerable old B-52s and drop cheap iron bombs on them. So a sustained campaign becomes cheap but it starts really really expensive.

Of course that doesn't mean you face no losses. Just sustainable losses while you do what you need to do. In this case unfortunately nobody knows what Trump needs to do, least of all him.
