Trump's Second Term

Make up your mind. Are you in favour of bloated frauds or against them?

Clearly, he's in favor of bloated frauds. He supports the Trump Administration, after all. He does like to regurgitate up is down level false Republican propaganda, though. Removing those who have successfully caught fraud and removing/preventing oversight are things that he's directly celebrated, after all. That's the kind of "shrinking" that the Trump Administration has largely done to government, after all. Just like all that other stuff like how diverting federal agents and resources away from catching human traffickers on a large scale while undermining anti-human trafficking efforts across the board and incentivizing human trafficking, with a couple empty token gestures and words mixed into that, were proof of how firm and powerful the Trump Administration's anti-human trafficking efforts are.

Israel and the Russians have amongst, if not the best intelligence services. Trump's life and career is full of controversy and cover up. Put 2 and 2 together and you get an explanation as to why Trump keeps on acting in Israel and Russia's best interests.

Ehh... That would work better if it weren't Trump that we're talking about. "The best" is quite unnecessary, especially when the person in question has been caught willingly offering up potential blackmail to Russia on a silver platter. As happened with Trump Tower Moscow, for example.

I generally try not to respond to bad-faith arguments, but this classic from Beau of the Fifth Column is always worth a repost❤️.
tl;dw: Dump fits all 14 characteristics of fascism to a tee.
Wording quibble (that got extended, just because)! That which Beau was invoking weren't the characteristics of fascism (and his handling did a poor job of demonstrating why fascism is actually bad). They're the 14 early warning signs of fascism, as posted in the Holocaust Museum. They are directly related, but the characteristics of fascism are a bit more subject to debate, depending on the specifics of what's in question. The essence, official party platforms, and variety among the manifestations of the specific forms do vary, after all.

The party platforms often have something for pretty much everyone across the political spectrum to grasp onto, for example. Fascism is dangerous in large part because it is superficially attractive to lots of people. That there's often something that the left could grasp onto has made it easy for the right to pervert reason and responsibility. The Nazi Party, for example, embraced a perversion of nationalized heath care. Chances are good that all of us have heard something along the lines of "The left supports nationalized health care! Nazis supported nationalized care! The left are the fascists!" Nevermind that it falls apart on even basic scrutiny, because scrutiny just isn't going to be applied by their target audience. Trausti's poke at Obamacare is likely directly related to that.

As for the essence, of course, to borrow a example of a short Google AI summation for ease's sake -
Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian, and ultranationalist political ideology characterized by dictatorial power, centralized autocracy, militarism, and forcible suppression of opposition. It promotes intense nationalism, the cult of a supreme leader, obsession with national decline, and the subordination of individual interests for the perceived national or racial good.
Going a bit further, everything actually bad about fascist regimes has directly been the result of the right-wing and authoritarian parts of fascism and the means and methods that they use to justify such. The 14 early warning signs of fascism are a decent tool for what they are, but they aren't properly a description of fascism. Trump (and the Republican Party) have been fitting the 14 early warning signs unfortunately well, yes, but that they are, have adopted, or have been pushing for the ability to engage in pretty much every single part of the essence of fascism is far more damning.

Trump: "How about Barack Hussein Obama? He went to Jesse Jackson's funeral. He spoke and it was like a political hit job. And the family of Jesse Jackson got angry as hell at him because they understand they hated each other. But I loved watching that. The family goes outside and starts screaming at him."

Things that did not happen. That mofo lies more than all the used car sales people in the world, combined.

I don't know if this is true (probably not), but I still love it...

Another weak liberal who can't handle the lies. Listen, sissyboy, we live in a world of big, beautiful walls, and those walls need to be defended by biological males with guns. Trump's existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, takes lives. Especially the lives of little Iranian school-girls. We want men like that. We need men like that. And the army of basement-dwellers who defend them online. We use words like "cuck," "pussy," and "faggot." We use those words as a backbone of a life spent attacking something. You use them in scare quotes -- like a cuck pussy faggot. I would rather you just said lawled and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick a slur and spam the hell out of it.
