Trump's Second Term

Jennings: It is true that the government of Norway doesn't award the Nobel peace prize. That's true. It's also true that he would very much like to get one. It's also true that he probably deserves one. So all of those things are true.

Trump is like a toddler having a tantrum because he went to another kid's birthday party and he didn't get any presents.

Windmills

Q: How would you characterize your relationship with Macron and Starmer right now?

TRUMP: They get a little bit rough when I'm not around, but when I'm around they treat me very nicely. They've gotta straighten out their countries. They gotta stop with the windmills

No pain

Trump: "Whoo. I'm glad my finger wasn't in that sucker. That could've dome some damage but you know what? I wouldn't have shown the pain. I would've gone back. Boy did you hear that? That was nasty. But I would not have shown the pain. I would've acted like nothing happens as my finger fell off."

He also claimed that "somebody" may have deliberately set him up to be hurt by the binder clip.
"That was nasty. I think somebody did that."

When my mother was developing dementia before she passed away, she became noticeably paranoid.

Pachinko brain pressers. Trump is lost in his own perverse little universe now. There's no telling him anything; he can no longer absorb new facts. He can no longer answer questions with relevant or even sensible answers. So asking him more questions just keeps his pachinko brain rolling the same old completely irrelevant topics over and over and over. He has no idea the spotlight is revealing what a fascist fool he is. He just basks in it for his own glory. Nothing he says is sane any longer.

My only comforting thought now is that the longer Trump stays as president of the USA, the longer the world goes without Vance in charge. Long live Trump. May his nonsensical regime take the GOP and all who supported him to rapid incarceration.

Newsome is one of the few who stands up to Trump. Calling out the world leaders bending the knee to Emperor Trump so strongly is much needed. He's absolutely right when he says Trump is a T-rex: mate with him or be devoured. These leaders need to be reminded that even a T-rex could be brought down by a united pack of smaller carnivores.
THIS. The leaders should also remember what trying to appease Hitler led to.
Sadly, courage seems to pretty rare among leaders nowdays...Europe in particular.
Churchill said that courage is an important virtue because without it, other virtues become impotant and useless.
I suggest the Euros here who are constantly attacking Americans for not standing up to Trump ...and I 100 Percent agree with them...start to clean their own house first
For example, rather then discuss what to do about Trump's tariff.the EU should have slapped a retailitory tariff automatically.

why would a retaliatory tariff be smart?

trump's biggest achilles heel is interest rates. they should be threatening moves that'll raise rates. he backed off last time japan dumped some bonds and the rates went up. that seems to bother him.

I disagree with Newsome on this one.

Trump is no T-Rex. He is a geriatric narcisist on a revenge tour and want's to leave with some major legacy. There are no adults to keep him in check and he has evil billionaires, right wing extremists and destructive agitators as influencers.

And the smaller carnivores are more dependent on him (and his country), then he is on them.

The situation is absolutely different to a T-Rex and some Velociraptors.

USA owns the moon so it's going to own Greenland whether they like it or not

Watters: We have to secure Greenland. It will happen. The US always secures our interests, either by force or purchase. We got the moon. I think we own it… We’re going to do it whether they like it or not.
