I also suspect the fact that China can hit back prety hard has something to do with this.

More tariffs: "We'll be doing pharmaceuticals. Importantly in drugs and medicines, etc. All forms of medicine and pharmaceuticals"

That's just phase one...once the economy tanks the only solution will be to get the military industrial complex going, which will justify the Mexican-American and Canadian-American Wars.

There were plenty of people who worked in the first Trump administration who said that Trump would be far worse if he got back into office. Trump is behaving the way he was expected to. No Trump voter can claim that they did not vote for this. Trump voters own everything that's happening.
 
The US government will soon become a problem debtor, refusing to pay bills. A large chunk of US debt is held by foreign countries. If they call in their loans...could be massive problems. Trump's usual SOP is to simply refuse to pay and ultimately declare bankruptcy. Not a good thing for a country to do. Just printing money won't cut that mustard. So major global problems possible.

Employees at multiple federal agencies were ordered to remove pronouns from their email signatures by Friday afternoon, according to internal memos obtained by ABC News that cited two executive orders signed by President Donald Trump on his first day in office seeking to curb diversity and equity programs in the federal government.

"Pronouns and any other information not permitted in the policy must be removed from CDC/ATSDR employee signatures by 5.p.m. ET on Friday," according to one such message sent Friday morning to CDC staff.

Federal employees with the Department of Transportation received a similar directive on Thursday

I agerr the Trump voters were incredibly stupid and ignorant, but I still think this chaos is not want they wanted.
 
So the dollar plummets, ordinary people become much poorer, the billionaire oligarchs snap up everything they don't already own for bargain prices, then Trump undoes what he did, the dollar shoots back up, and the billionaires are now trillionaires and we're all their serfs.

To be clear, privatizing the government has indeed long been the dream... of certain obscenely rich people who have been working to sabotage the country for a long time now. The kind of people who hate the middle class because they're not so easily controlled by them.

I don't see a realistic path forward. Unless there is come sort of revolutionary thing going on.
Making fun of Trump and his idiots and trying to keep up with every next 'oh ◊◊◊◊, look what he is doing now' news isn't going to help.

MAGA is in power for four years, at least. And this is just the start. Who is going to stop them with what or how?
