Yes. All prices are coming down. Some are down to quite a bit more than before but they are definitely all coming down, like you never saw before. Like the chocolate ration in 1984, which increased to less than it was before. You should celebrate this good news for ranchers and the fact that steak prices have dropped to only 17% more than they were last year. Thanks to Big Orange Brother.

As noted previously, that actually doesn't rule out sabotage there. This is Trump and the Republican Party that we're dealing with, after all. Openly sabotaging things and then making a big deal out of it while blaming others with inane arguments is something that they do over and over and over.

I guess you could charge tariffs on streaming services who show foreign films, but it would hard to enforce.
But I am beginning to supect that Trump really wants to isolate the American people from "evil" foreign influences.

Apparently Trump means movies made outside the USA, which is confusing since a great many US studio finianced movies are produced outside the USA.
You can't fake everything on the backlot or on locations near LA the way you could in the golden age of studios. Thr advent of Color really sort of put an end to going to a few hills outside of the San Fernando Valley and make them look like the Yorkshire moors, which was what was done in the 1939 version of Wuthering Heights.
It totally bonkers, of course, but look at the source.
Update: the tariff was threatned in the context of an attack on Newsom , who seems to be getting under Trump's skin.
I guess what Donnie Dum Dum does not get is that, yes, studios are making movies outside of California because of costs, but it is not foreing countries benefiting from this. other states, Georgia in particular which has really become "Hollywood East". And is, of course a red state............
