Trillions of dollars from other countries!!

That's a big jump since yesterday.

Trump: We're taking in trillions, not billions, trillions and trillions of dollars from other countries … Now they're paying a lot of money and they're paying hundreds of billions of dollars… But I think there's also a possibility that we're taking in so much money that we may very well make a dividend to the people of America.

I’m proud to announce that Moses Ezekiel’s beautiful and historic sculpture — often referred to as “The Reconciliation Monument” — will be rightfully be returned to Arlington National Cemetery near his burial site.
It never should have been taken down by woke lemmings. Unlike the Left, we don’t believe in erasing American history—we honor it.

The other nations look around, puzzled, and ask others if maybe they are the ones paying hundreds of billions of dollars to the US. Then they remember this money is just an internal US tax levied by the American government on American importers of foreign goods, and they shrug and go back to whatever they were doing.

65 year old lady that works at a food co op has invited our congressman to come by to see poor people buying food on snap.
He would see real disabled people. And some of those 30 year olds that play video games all day so they can "enjoy" Medicaid.

I can just see Trump winning the shot put, by having his caddy drop the shot a few feet further than everyone else while he was 'practicing'.

ETA: I've been reading American science fiction for over 50 years now and the POTUS has often made an appearance. Several books have had a President that I consider just too venial, too crass, too ignorant, or too much of a narcissist, none have been as bad as Trump. It's never been truer than now that the truth is stranger than fiction. It is unbelievable.

I took a look at that, and my eye was caught by its latin motto “Victrix causa diis placuit sed victa Caton” (“The victorious cause was pleasing to the gods, but the lost cause to Cato”).

A bit more Googling for a prominent ancient Roman Cato finds several, more than one of whom threw their life away for a lost cause, but I think this one is Cato the Younger, who was on the losing side of Roman civil war (aha!) and chose suicide rather than accept a pardon offered by Julius Caesar.

Now that's an odd motto for a "Reconciliation Monument". It's not saying anything about being reconciled to your defeat or about reconciliation with your former enemy. On the contrary it's praising the nobility of defying the victors and throwing your life away in a futile gesture honouring a hopeless cause.

Weird thing for someone in the US government to get sentimental about.

Crime in Washington, D.C., is totally out of control. Local "youths" and gang members, some only 14, 15, and 16-years-old, are randomly attacking, mugging, maiming, and shooting innocent Citizens, at the same time knowing that they will be almost immediately released. They are not afraid of Law Enforcement because they know nothing ever happens to them, but it's going to happen now! The Law in D.C. must be changed to prosecute these "minors" as adults, and lock them up for a long time, starting at age 14. The most recent victim was beaten mercilessly by local thugs.
Washington, D.C., must be safe, clean, and beautiful for all Americans and, importantly, for the World to see. If D.C. doesn't get its act together, and quickly, we will have no choice but to take Federal control of the City, and run this City how it should be run, and put criminals on notice that they're not going to get away with it anymore. Perhaps it should have been done a long time ago, then this incredible young man, and so many others, would not have had to go through the horrors of Violent Crime. If this continues, I am going to exert my powers, and FEDERALIZE this City. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
