Trump's promised ICE raids have begun

I can't see what you were posting. Its someone's post about their dog dying when I click on it.
ICE taking down a suspect or protestor. It's all the same now. All opponents will be taken down. This is a woman smaller than any of the agents. If a few ICE agents are around, one will give the taken down person a kick in the head.

My take.

Good had just dropped her child off at school, with spouse and dog in tow. She parked her vehicle in such a way to observe ICE operations. She did not appear to be impeding them, since she waved one ICE vehicle by, and it proceeded without incident or hindrance.

Then, the second ICE vehicle diverted from its path to confront her. Conflicting orders, laced with obscenities, were shouted at her, which provoked a fight-or-flight response. The “Dude, I’m not mad at you…” did not indicate any inclination to fight, so she backed up a little and then drove forward slowly and away to escape the confrontation. And was shot three times for no discernible reason.

Sorry if I’m belaboring the obvious, but at no time do I see her using her vehicle in an aggressive manner or as a weapon.
There were cars going around her. She in no way made their operation impossible, or even impeded it beyond maybe *slightly*.

Donald warns

FEAR NOT, GREAT PEOPLE OF MINNESOTA, THE DAY OF RECKONING & RETRIBUTION IS COMING!"

@realDonald Trump
Do the people of Minnesota really want to live in a community in which their are thousands of already convicted murderers, drug dealers and addicts, rapists, violent released and escaped prisoners, dangerous people from foreign mental institutions and insane asylums, and other deadly criminals too dangerous to even mention. All the patriots of ICE want to do is remove them from your neighborhood and send them back to the prisons and mental institutions from where they came, most in foreign Countries who illegally entered the USA though Sleepy Joe Biden's HORRIBLE Open Border's Policy. Every place we go, crime comes down. In Chicago, despite a weak and incompetent Governor and Mayor fighting us all the way, a big improvement was made. Thousands of Criminals were removed!

Minnesota Democrats love the unrest that anarchists and professional agitators are causing because it gets the spotlight off of the 19 Billion Dollars that was stollen by really bad and deranged people. FEAR NOT, GREAT PEOPLE OF MINNESOTA, THE DAY OF RECKONING & RETRIBUTION IS COMING!

How aggressively? Deliberately aimed at the shooter, as the regime claim? Absolutely not. Did she even "floor it" as some here have insisted? Again, no. She pulled away in a controlled manner, after turning the wheel way over to avoid the shooter. He helpfully provided us with video evidence that he watched her do that in her last few seconds. And you'll see she backed up first to give room. Do you think she backed up "aggressively"?
An aggressive 2 point turn.

Shoot her!!

You guys in the blue part of the USA, or from Europe/OZ, maybe aren't going to believe this deranged lunatic but there are still 10's of millions of people that think this is true and awesome and great. Unfortunately I know some of them.

I had no idea "aim a car at people, get shot" was such a controversial opinion.
Its the whole, she was aiming a car at people part that is controversial. She clearly was not.

While I'd still be against ICE being deployed in this manner, if the officer was actually in danger of his life or great bodily harm, I'd still defend his right to self defense. This was not self defense.

ETA: also the video clearly shows the steering wheel all the way to the right, had she been "aiming" for the officer she'd have been steering to the left.

"At least six members of the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division have resigned after they learned there would be no civil rights investigation into" the shooting of Renee Good. According to MS Now, the resignations include the section chief, deputy chief, and acting deputy chief. These resignations are said to be in response to multiple decisions made by Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon, of which her decision not to investigate Good's shooting is just the latest.

A Justice Department official did not dispute the resignations, but said the attorneys had requested early retirement even before Good was shot.

In February, five top officials of DOJ's Public Integrity Section resigned when they were ordered to dismiss bribery charges against NYC major Eric Adams.

Meanwhile, the state of Minnesota and the cities of Minneapolis and St Paul have sued Kristi Noem and six others, including Gregory Bovino. The plaintiffs ask the court to enjoin the surge of federal agents to Minnesota and to "enjoin Defendants from engaging in the unlawful actions described in this Complaint". Those actions are described with some specificity. The complaint also alleges ten counts (the tenth was given Roman numeral XI, but there is no count X):
  1. infringement of plaintiffs' police power and unlawful coercion, both contrary to the Tenth Amendment of the US Constitution
  2. violation of equal sovereignty guaranteed by the Constitution
  3. violations of state law and city ordinances, contrary to law (Administrative Procedure Act, 5 U.S.C. § 706(2)(A), (C))
  4. excessive force, contrary to law (5 U.S.C. § 706(2)(A), (C))
  5. warrantless arrests without individualized assessment of immigration status, contrary to law (5 U.S.C. § 706(2)(A), (C))
  6. border patrol enforcement actions as if the agents were near the border, contrary to law (5 U.S.C. § 706(2)(A), (C))
  7. arbitrary and capricious revocation of 2021 Sensitive Locations Policy (5 U.S.C. § 706(2)(A))
  8. unconstitutional retaliation in violation of the First Amendment
  9. viewpoint discrimination in violation of the First Amendment
  10. ultra vires executive action in excess of constitutional and statutory authority
