Trading a ballot for beer might have been a joke. But claiming one's roommate was able to bring a number of 'extra' ballots home from a post office job was not sarcasm. It was lying or passing on someone else's lies.
 
A blind Man could have seen this Insurrection coming just by understanding the Conspiracy theories that lead up to it, and the idiots that followed them..
Trump wanted a Demonstration, the Conspiracy theories gave him an Insurrection, Trump got Burned as did the Republican party because they were playing with what they thought was a Match and it Turned out to be an F3 Thermonuclear Balistic Missile.

The "We have to cheat to win, we absolutely know we can't win a fair election" is something the REPUBLICANS HAVE ALREADY ADMITTED. Why are we arguing about it? The killer signed a confession, we don't have a trial.

That's not how I read it. He was delighted to be misunderstood, because it gave him even more reason to laugh at us poor deluded libs.


It's not the only case of him doing it, no. Sarcasm seems to be his default, and the failure to spot it a source of even more amusement. Again, remember he thinks he's the one with the superior knowledge and understanding.

I have never been an accessory to Stupidity, I just had a Theory all hell was going to Break loose on the 6th, because People were saying Trump would invoke the Insurrection act, and the Military would overturn the Election..
I can't help it if my theory was correct, forgive me for thinking it.

No but I live in farming country and went to school with several farmers.
It's just a matter of scale, the ones I know don't do anything different to the big farms.

I view the entire period from the election until Jan 6 as one slow-rolling coup attempt. I view it as still underway actually.

In the stereotypical scenario where there's a military coup, the advanced planning stage is part and parcel of the coup, don't you think?

I have to agree with you on this. The actions by Trump and his sycophants in the DOJ were part and parcel of the same coup attempt.
