Noted. Notwithstanding, when you dismiss Trump's actions as just "talk", you minimize those actions.

My objection is that the swooners are using the wrong terms, that's all. If a woman is raped, don't swoon about how her soul was murdered. Call it what it ******* is, without the adolescent drama.

He attempted to overturn an election simply because he lost. When you attempt to overturn a democratic election, you are attempting to overturn democracy. This is plain, obvious reality that you stubbornly refuse to accept.

Also: you asked me what I thought. I said so. So what's with the "anonymous poster" dismissal? Did you expect me to reveal my secret identity as outranking the Joint Cheif Chairman? You're better than that, man.

I want the best ones for people like him to watch. Not stupid songs that poke fun, but concise and easy to understand. It may not change his mind, but I want clear evidence that even a numbskull can grasp (my Dad is otherwise very intelligent).

There must be an endless supply, but I need the best. Could be a new thread of its own maybe.

The Lincoln Project has loads. They are clearly adverts, but are also made by former senior Republicans

I like watching certain Youtube channels. One of them being The David Pakman Show. He recently released a video where he looks at some of the wackier moments of Trumps' recent Turning Point speech last weekend and adds his own commentary to it.

Something like that might also be a good starting point.
 
And if anybody doubts that racism is the heart and soul of Trumpism just listen to the testimony of that black Capitol Policeman yesterday.

Exactly. What would convince them? Nothing I can see.

After talking to my sister yesterday I just don't know if I want to bother. Her response to me was canned - "Biden is the one with Dimentia and anyone can see" - just tells me that her mind is closed. Her boyfriend is partially responsible for my vegan sister turning into a AR-15 owning conservative. I think. He has a short fuse and well whatever. Her decision though.

I told her all I really care about is that you aren't a Trump suppoerter after everything you've (not) seen. No response.

My family wants me to move up near them. Frankly I don't think I can stand to be around some of them, at least her. Even my old conservative step dad admits Trump is a fool.

This is bothering me too much, I actually think I may see a shrink. I need help sorting this out and dealing with it.
