The highlighted part is probably the issue. I suspect a lot of these people haven't actually looked at the footage- at least, not all of it, and certainly not the worst bits. They probably watch some crap like OANN, that only shows the parts where they were just walking around inside the Capitol, and not the parts where they were beating up cops and smashing in doors and windows.

That and the usual logical disconnects. If they saw footage of the fighting on the step and in the doorways - well that was Antifa and Communists.

People walking around the building a bit later - good God-fearing PATRIOTS!

People seen in both sets of videos? Ignored, didn't happen. That's the part they can't admit to seeing.

So Antifa and Communists attacked the Capitol on the day votes were being counted because … reasons
And the Republican Congressfolk who don’t want an investigation into the Antifa/Communist attacks are to be praised because … more reasons.

Have any of the right-wingers claimed that Democratic Congressfolk showed up before the riots and showed the rioters where to attack?

I ask because the Republicans love to accuse others of things they do themselves.
 
Still on the floor laughing over what happened with the pro insurrectionist rally today. MTG and Gaetz ran away from a few prostestors who were not violent, just waving sings and chanting. Hilairous to watch.

Republicans are really screwing the neighbor's dog on this hearing. Their House leadership fell for Pelosi's trick which was one step above, hey your shoelace is untied. Then they run from microphones when asked about the hearing. I can just see the attack ads now; riot footage, cut to member calling it a tour group; officer testimony, cut to member running away from reporters. The ad almost cuts itself. Dems are going to bring in bank off this and the 527s are going to go for Ron Johnson's throat.

I want to see an ad with the cop testifying that he put his life on the line to protect those bastards, cut to a scene with legislators escaping out the back while the cops hold the mob back (using scenes of the cops in real trouble like the one pulled into the crowd and beaten and the one screaming as he's smashed into the door frame) then cut to the GOP legislators claiming it was mostly peaceful and no big deal. They should end on the cop literally having his eye gouged out.

Emotion, non-thinking voters are moved by emotion.

I'd be happy to make some videos like this. If people can help me locate the footage, maybe some general content ideas, I'd love to put it together. I do a lot of video editing. Not sure if anybody would see them, but that never stops me :)

By the way:
Anyone know of a site with say 10 minute videos that clearly demonstrate how awful Trump is?

Let's say my Dad asks me, "Fine, show me evidence that Trump was a terrible president, I'll watch a few videos", what could I show him?

I want the best ones for people like him to watch. Not stupid songs that poke fun, but concise and easy to understand. It may not change his mind, but I want clear evidence that even a numbskull can grasp (my Dad is otherwise very intelligent).

There must be an endless supply, but I need the best. Could be a new thread of its own maybe.

There's some pretty good Dump clips from his 100+ minutes of rambling at the AZ rally. He goes on about woke athletes losing at the Olympics and how they just need the routers to prove voter fraud in AZ and why aren't the election officials giving up the routers.
