Trump's Coup d'état.

I just looked, and it showed 22 to Trump and 7 to Biden. And yet we're supposed to believe that this clear indication of an advantage of three votes to Trump for every single vote Biden gets will somehow stop midway while the Democrats figure out how many votes they need, and then will magically award the result to Biden? I mean, these Democrats are so brazen about faking the election that they've even announced in advance how many votes they're going to get!

:)

By tomorrow, I fear the above may no longer be satire.

Dave

Yeah....:(

What sort of crazy will tomorrow bring?

I know. Trump will acknowledge that with the electoral votes are cast and that even though the election was stolen, he must respect the results.

It could happen. (There was a comedienne in the '90s who had that as part of her standard patter. I don't remember her name. Judy something, I think. She would describe something kind of absurd, but not physically impossible, and say, "It could happen.")

Biden is done after Mississippi voted: 28 to 7.

(Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Illinois and South Carolina should come in any moment now.)

Have there been any faithless electors yet?

You jest, but don't be surprised if Trump tweets that he was originally leading 28 - 7 and then, amazingly, he somehow lost!!!! And there was that big 55 vote dump that was all for Biden later in the day.

FRAUD!!!!!!!

No. The NYT page tracking the EC vote would show them: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/12/14/us/elections/electoral-college-results.html (no paywall).

Yes, as others have said, that's quite possible.

And as Meadmaker remarked, it is almost absurd that many of us follows this with such interest.
In previous elections, the news that the EC had actually voted barely was mentioned.

It's worse than that. When Trump was leading 28-7, at the same time Pence was leading 28-7 too. Do you know what the odds against that are? About 1.36 million to one!

Right now, it show this:

STOP THE COUNT!

Back in the dark days of December 2016 and for some months afterward, there were a few Trumpeters who said, Yeah, he cheated, so wot, he still won.

They're still around, I daresay.

NPR this morning said that Steven Miller said on Fox that they're trying to get alternate slates of electors approved in the swing states.

While this has just about no chance of succeeding, it only further cements the idea that the election of Biden is a fraud.

It. Just. Never. Stops.

ETA: No chance of succeeding in the Congress when Congress chooses to accept the (which) slate of electors.

.

They should just get the alternate votes from New California and New Nevada. At that point, the whole issue of swing states is moot.

CNN is broadcasting it pretty much full time.
Never seen this before, usually it does not get much attention. only if it's a slow news day does is it even the lead story. Normally it's a short "And John Doe was officially elecded President today "story.

Because any other election you weren't imagining it might be possible that some gun wielding loon could storm a government building and demand they give their EV to the 'real' winner...:(

Trump ensured that a lot of people would watch him lose again!
