"... If you hear other leading Democrats protest the move today, consider how they’ve voted.
"The 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act, which provided for the relocation, passed the Senate 93–5 and the House 374–37. Though most of the Democrats who voted for that are gone, not all of them are. In addition to Schumer, Sens. Dick Durbin, Dianne Feinstein, Pat Leahy, and Patty Murray voted for it, as did House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi."
"The bill allowed presidents to repeatedly waive the embassy relocation if they found it in the United States’ national security interests. That’s how President Clinton, who signed the bill, as well as Presidents Bush and Obama regularly postponed the move."
It occurs to me that "pastor" means "shepherd" -- someone who leads sheep around. Works for me.

So, we now have Likud on international news declaring a theocracy, a one-state solution,

Pastor Jeffress, who appears to be rather violently against any religion other than his brand of Christianity, will accompany Trump to Jerusalem:

CNN Played clips of this fellow denouncing Judaism, Islam, and other religions as “heresies from Hell” (among other wild statements).
Sometimes you just have to wonder.....
Quote:
Jeffress serves on President Donald Trump’s Evangelical Advisory Board and is a member of his White House Faith Initiative.
What happened to the separation of church and state?
Or moreso Adelson.Evangelicals have one ear, Netanyahu has the other.
Which is needed to do what they do do!!! Before they eat it, of course!!Yep.

Slightly O/T is there a thread about the US Embassy being put in Jerusalme and the subsequent uproar?
