Trump Org. and CFO Indicted

Re: Evidence of Barry Weisselberg tax fraud...
I thought all this sort of came out before (And Jennifer Weisselberg has been cooperating for months now), but it seems to be treated as new.
Previous reports were about the father. It appears that this is new stuff about the son.
Yes, but like I said, I thought things about the son were already leaked too...

For example:

From: Yahoo (July 2021, approximately 1 month ago)
The top finance executive at the Trump Organization was indicted for dodging taxes by receiving pay in unaccounted corporate perks....The indictment also mentions “a family member” of the CFO who took part in “the scheme to defraud” the government...Investigators found that the CFO’s son...was keeping his official salary artificially low.... Barry Weisselberg testified that he didn’t even get a monetary raise in years, and according to investigators, he received the extra compensation in the form of fringe benefits.

So suggestions that Barry Weisselberg had been engaged in fraud have been around for weeks/months.

This may not have been the first time Weisselberg has faced charges...

From: CNN
New York federal prosecutors came to suspect the Trump Organization's chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, lied in testimony during their investigation of former Trump personal attorney Michael Cohen...In the course of the investigation, prosecutors gave limited immunity to Weisselberg...After they came to suspect Weisselberg lied in his testimony, prosecutors weighed whether to pursue perjury charges and...also explored whether they could retract his immunity.

The problem is, if they do actually get Weisselberg to flip on trump, any testimony he gives will now be seen as coming from someone who has already lied once.

If he can provide evidence, problem solved.
I know that supporting documentation will be critical.

But if they do go after Stubby McBonespurs or one of his Klan, I would hope that the case against him would be as airtight as possible.

Ha ha!

From: The Daily Beast
Prosecutors have discovered a tranche of evidence in the basement of a co-conspirator in the Trump Organization tax fraud case...“We have strong reason to believe there could be other indictments coming,” Weisselberg’s lawyer, Bryan C. Skarlatos, said...Weisselberg’s lawyers tried to push back an eventual trial, asking for significantly more time to review what they determined to be more than 3 million documents...Justice Juan Merchan, agreed to slow down the pace...and tentatively scheduled a trial for sometime in August or September of next year.

Sadly, it doesn't yet look like Weisselberg will be flipping on Trump. But hopefully some of those 3 million documents can be used against Stubby McBonespurs in the future.
