I don't particularly like Clinton, but I try to be as reasonable and unbiased as possible, and being in the military I can perhaps provide a little perspective on this topic.

Did the troops have to wait for H to show up and allow her to cut into line in front of them? Probably. So what? That's not anything unique to her. It's pretty much SOP for any visit by a VIP.

When W showed up to carve the turkey do you think the troops would have been allowed to start without him?

There are many reasons to dislike the Clinton's (or indeed any politician) but this isn't one of them (unless you're going to hold it against everyone else also).

They had a hard time finding troops who wanted to eat with her. No surprise really. This is SOP for Politburo members.

Well then I guess it a good thing that you were not in the US military because that sort of crap happens all the time.

Once, there was a rather bad fire on my ship and a couple of days later an admiral paid a visit to the ship in order to inspect the damage. So one of the things I got to do was buff the floor of one of the compartments that was almost destroyed by the fire.

After this was done, the NCO in charge said "this place looks like a ◊◊◊◊ house!".

To which I responded with, "Well what do you expect? There was a major fire in here two days ago."

So of course, I was the one with the bad attitude.

Speaking of attitudes:
In New Mexico years ago we had to paint a condemmed barracks because of some visitor that was going to tour it (Don' t tour a barracks with people in it, might have someone answer a question honestly if they get asked). The place was so old that the blocks of concrete were soft and chunks would fall off. We were also given this Pepto-Bismol colored paint to do the job with. When we were done our Chief MSgt came through and said it wasn't good enough and that it had to be done again, this time with white paint (which took several coats because the pink showed through). My comment to him then was "How much make-up does this ugly b*tch have to wear before you'll f*ck her?"

That one almost cost me a stripe.
