You are using Mitch's testimony which is antecdotal, the same thing you won't allow the Woos to do. What's up with that?

There is a level of proof required with respect to the nature of the claim. That is, one claim that requires a substantial leap in how the world is known to work and the other is consistent with known reality.
Consider someone who sees a dark shape in the forest 100 yards off. He squints and says it is a Bigfoot. The guy next to him picks up his binoculars and says, nope, it's a bear standing on his hind legs. How would you weigh these two anecdotal pieces of evidence?
