I have this one hammer that I've had for 30 years.
I've replaced four handles and three heads in that time, but it's still the same old hammer!
Michael Shermer takes it to the next level in his "The Soul Of Science" by talking about his 1966 Mustang in which over the years of accidents and broken parts none of the original car remained yet it was still his 1966 Mustang. And then discusses a bit just what it is that makes us "us". Rather brief but interesting read.
