Looks like Samson is winding himself up to blame the school shooting on other kids being trans and take the blame off Colt.

The step after that will be approval of school shootings if the shooter was angry that trans people exist.

He appears to think schools' failure to exclude any pupils who transition and to teach their other pupils to shun them is making the other pupils so angry they want to shoot each other.

And his evidence is that this disturbed kid once said something disobliging about trans acceptance on a Discord chat. (This of course flipped from his original assumption the kid had said something disobiging about trans non-acceptance.)

It clearly doesn't matter what the kid said about trans issues. The fact he expressed an opinion at all about Samson's obsession means that is ipso facto the reason he killed.

I'm pointing out (again) that you have not explained the link between anything "trans" and shooting up a school with an AR-15. Aided by a bit of sarcasm, of course, because, well, that's what I do.

Maybe try answering some straight questions (or is "straight" as big an insult as "cis"?) and we won't have these difficulties.

PS A gay friend of mine objected to the use of "straight" to describe us hetero types on the quite reasonable grounds that if I was "straight" he was "bent" and he didn't feel that was right: he would call me "hettie", which I was fine with.

But in this case, what we have is: a kid who was NOT trans, was NOT bullied for being trans, hated the trans, so he shot at a bunch of kids and two teachers who also were NOT trans, as far as anyone can tell. I mean, if you thought blaming the victim was stupid, get ready for blaming something that doesn't even have any connection to the victim.

Yes, but how does it even connect to what he actually did? I'm not even saying justify it, but what is even the logical connection in your head? I mean, if he went and shot a vaginoplasty surgeon, it would still be a heinous act, but at least you could see the connection in his little deranged brain. Here it was as indiscriminate as that when his classmates didn't open the door, he just went to another class and shot those there. What, was his school so full of trannies, that any class would qualify? Or what?

I may have mentioned it before but a long time ago, in a galaxy far a... err... I mean on another forum, someone took my former "A polar bear is just a Cartesian bear after a coordinate transform" sig/tagline/footer as a reason to attack me over my supposed lack of empathy for the plight of polar bears and the climate change

If he was in group A, then that's why he did it and it's group A's fault.

If instead he hates group A, then his righteous anger made him do it, which is entirely group A's fault.

It is of course trivially true, though, that when haters are destructive, those they hate are sort of parties to the destruction. We're left with the paradoxical issue, that though those haters customarily rant about the age of feelings, how they hate the idea that feelings are important, and disparage the feelings of others, it's really because their own feelings are so supreme that nothing else but that matters.
