It's questionable as we've never had a situation like this before. Nixon, who resigned in disgrace, was not given a state funeral in DC like others but was given a state funeral in his hometown in CA. This was at his request.

If convicted of the JC charges, there's reasonable doubt he could lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda as both Houses of Congress must agree. I can't see that happening if even one House is controlled by the Dems.
