(I develop a tic when I see the phrase "cog" these days, but these folk seem to be based in Glasgow. No Welsh connections.)

Can you explain this for folks on the US side of the pond? For me, a "cog" is either a little mechanical part that keeps machinery moving, or the Washington (DC) Metropolitan Council of Governments, a political organization that has the opposite effect.
