Doesn't the US sell enough bonds already (and for a lot less than 2.5%)?

There are no bonds such as the targeted sort which DallasDad argues for sold by the FED.

Municipalities do sell these, as do corporations.

Spoilsport. Being right is no excuse for stamping on the burbling hopes of the throng who still believe, somehow, Mr. Smith is in Washington and will do the Right Thing.

Unless we need a few more Mr. Smiths.
