There is a bit of a TAM tradition that Thursday morning those forum members who are awake and sober meet for breakfast at the buffet. It is about as informal a gathering as there is. Usually the early birds start showing up around eight-ish and people come and go for quite a while. The buffet at South Point is pretty cheap compared to most, 8 bucks or 6 if you're a player's club member. So if you want to join in show up, if not don't.

Like most buffetts, it can best be described as bad food, but lots of it. :)

Workshops start at 9:00, so if I come, I'll be one of the early birds.

I wonder if this is a subliminal comment about Jimmy Buffett? Another great concert last night, by the way.

In the past there have been 2-for-1 coupons for breakfast, so pay attention to the packet of stuff they hand you when you check into the hotel.

For the real early birds, I'll be in the Coronado Cafe around 0600, leaving at about 0630.

But, they have 'Graveyard Specials' if you show up before 6am, which include a $2.45 Pancake Sandwich or a $2.95 cheeseburger and fries... which is exactly what one needs at 6am. :D

I may be there. But then again I'm not sure if I'm going to get sloshed the night before.

But - I also have to be up for the workshops, which I wouldn't miss for all the grog in the world. And I'm interested in meeting some people as I know about 1/2 other 'skeptics' in real life.
