Thread for Lifegazer to give evidence to back up his philosophy

*SIGH*

Why do you people even bother? He doesn't have any, never will and never can. There is absolutely no way to provide evidence for idealism, as the external world is all false anyway to them... you just have to take LG's word. Do you just wanna make more fun of him? Use him as a whipping boy?

Anyone whose philosophical end is "Everything is God, and nothing else exists" cannot be falsified, and can be defended easily, since you basically say "Everything is, and it does what it wants, and anything can be."

/doesn't understand

Speaking opf things that are more fun than working, I miss the "UP WIT DA FUNK" avatar. Maybe you could at least give your farmer bob avatar a little slogan, eh?

hello!??

Lifegazer?

The problem is this :

If you actually get to the point where lifegazer can't answer a question (because he has run up against a small logical problem), then he simply does not answer and in his own mind the problem goes away. He has claimed previously that if everybody embraced "his philosophy" then there would come to pass a paradisical world where "there is no killing". I wondered what this meant for the worlds carnivores, so I asked him what the carnivores would eat "after the revolution". I had to repeat the question well over twenty times before the answer came.

The thread was called "illogical paradise".

http://www.randi.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32305&highlight=illogical+paradise

Somewhere in the middle of page 5 he finally makes an attempt to answer the original questions. Whether it was worth all the effort of extracting them I am not sure. It turns out that in the paradise lifegazer believes in, there will no longer be any need to eat.

Personally, I like to eat. :)

Don't expect to be able to pin him down. He has a chronic selective memory problem - it does not matter how many times he gets demolished, somehow the demolition gets erased from his memory.

I'm busy trying to reform science right now. Plus I don't get much time off till the middle of next week. I'll have to get back to you on this.

Yeah, that's several thousand years of proven success to undo. That's lots 'n' lots of work, you guys...
I'm not trying to undo several thousand years of success. There seems to be an unfounded myth going around this place that I'm anti-science... when in fact, I'm just anti biased-science.

uh-huh.

edited: Whoops. Wrong direction. This thread is supposed to be where you present your evidence for your philosophy. I withdraw my question in order to not derail the thread from that purpose.

It must suck to need imaginary time off from your imaginary job in order to tell a bunch of imaginary people they don't exist.

:P

There is only so much imaginary time in the imaginary day....

Actually, you'd think that maybe someone who as awake, could actually imagine more time in the imaginary day and be able to accomplish more imaginary tasks in it.

On an aside: I prepose that we name lifegazer's philosophy, "The Imaginary Philosophy". Any seconds?

So that science thread is his job?
