This is BRILLIANT!!!

Hmm.

I see it differently. I see it as an exchange of one "extreme" First Amendment right for the other. Besides, I don't see porn as a bad thing, I know most people do, but I feel this is also a statement saying basically nothing's wrong with porn.

While hilarious, I think it might be going to far for this to become mainstream atheist. On the other hand, if this happened in my town, I would have been in line for the exchange. I have a couple of old unused bibles hanging around.

Typical christians eh? its all right to spout about Genocidal Gods but not when two(possibly three) people are doing nothing more than having fun.

I see no harm in it. (So long as the people involved are over aged, of course).

What?! There's a lower age limit for reading or owning bibles?!

Now seriously though, you aren't really looking for harm in it are you?

Extreme brilliance would be making a porn film out of the appropriate sections of the Bible.
I was thinking just this thing. Or just a porno mag with Lot having sex with his daughters, visual demonstrations of some levitical laws, etc etc.

You managed to find biblical lego porn? That's almost miraculous in and of itself LOL

There probably should be. I read the NT cover to cover when I was seven and it ****ed me up real good for many years. No telling what could have happened if I'd started with the OT.
There should be a NC-17 rating on the Holly Bibble.

Hemant disagrees and I can't say that I disagree with him.

So, why is Hemant the decider on how every atheist should act and, why must every action by every atheist be well planned out, and perfectly executed so as to never offend a theist?

It would seem to me that Hemant has carried his religious bigotry over to his atheism. He has no room for any atheist who sees the world differently than he does. He is probably one of those "holier than thou" atheists who think Richard Dawkins is too militant, too.

It depends on what this smut for smut campaign was in reaction to as to whether I agree with it or not. It is comical though.

Here's the difference between atheists and theists.

Theists have acknowledged authority figures, while most atheists do not.

Good reference there.

I'm not sure I agree that it can't be answered though... it just can't be answered directly. The best way I've found is to ask why they think this is true, examine their belief system, and basically make the xtian the one who's morality is on trial, instead of the other way around. I can easily prove them wrong from that perspective.

(added) But then again, I can hold my own pretty well in a discussion of ethics. I don't reccomended it for everyone.
