Fair enough. So were you opposed to Bill Clinton's impeachment?
She exposes hypocrisy, in other words.
No they're not calling themselves that label. Their detractors are. Urban dictionary is your pal if that post was not a joke.[ . . . ] a certain type of USA citizen that I think is currently being self-labeled "teabagger".

It seems to appear in quotes from their detractors:

"Tea party movement" or something is the term conservatives use.
Whiplash, Skeptic? Is there anyone defending her?
lol?she is more qualified than Obama
lol!She exposes hypocrisy, in other words.
What I like Sarah Palin is the reasons she drives the left nuts: she is more qualified than Obama ...
That's like saying we're fascinated by Britney Spears' antics and enjoy laughing at her misfortune because we're intimidated by her. Palin had a shot at getting one of the most coveted positions in government. In 2008, the left was scared because of her politics and the very real possibility that she might be elected. As time wore on and it was obvious that she wasn't White House material, she became a joke.I'm inclined to believe that all the stuff about "shes our dream candidate, I hope she runs, it'll ensure us an Obama victory" is actually just bluster that is for their own benefit, not for anyone else. They seek to convince themselves of that. My reasoning? If they really believed what they were saying, they wouldn't also bend over backwards to insult and bring her down every single chance they can get. You don't bother with destroying someone who is absolutely no threat.
What I like Sarah Palin is the reasons she drives the left nuts: she is more qualified than Obama and lives a life that totally ignores the standard progressive cliches about how one "should" live (avoid guns, like abortion, go to an Ivy league school, live in/next to a big city, have 1.5 children).
She exposes hypocrisy, in other words. The hysterical attacks on her, and especially on her family, show clearly the naive rock-star adoration of The One that is the real reasons for the Obama cult among self-identified "sophisticates", the intolerance for any really alternative lifestyle among the champions of "diversity" and "tolerance", and the contempt for those who are not of their own set among those who see themselves as being for "the people".
The problem is that, while all these are very nice and I wish all Republican candidates would have them, surely they are secondary qualities that should not be the main ones for a POTUS. As honorable as her employment record and life's choice are, they aren't, in my view, nearly sufficient for the top job in the world. After all, merely being more qualified to POTUS than Obama is a bit like being more qualified to be a gym instructor than the fat lady in the circus.
Anyways, it's clear why people like her.
They identify with what they see as an embodiment of the American ideal of individualism and self-reliance. She also strikes a chord with the neo-conservative notion of restoring America's greatness through traditional values (e.g. religious values) and the embrace of American exceptionalism.
