Things you learn watching Fox News

Has anyone asked Fox news that if Chastity Bono may lead to children hacking off their genitalia in hero worship, does the show 'Mike & Molly' lead to type 2 diabetes & size 54" jeans?

When I watched the CNN Tea Party debate, it was obviously sponsored by the coal industry.

Evidence, I mean other than your opinion that it was "obvious"?

Just gut feeling. Every other commercial was about coal and natural gas, so I assume that they paid money to get those commercials.

Gut feeling = opinion = no evidence, as I suspected.

Wait. If it's true that there were a lot of coal/natural gas commercials, doesn't that mean that they were sponsoring the debate by definition? Isn't that what "sponsoring" means? "...and now a word from our sponsor."

I don't know what to think about her any more. She used to be one of the worst "anchors" they had, but lately she's been saying things that make sense to rational people.

I'm so confused...

John Stewart had a segment about her, appearntly in the past she made so many claims regarding how maternity leave is part of evil socialisim. Then SHE goes to maternity leave and suddenly she is all on the wagon.

My guess is, she is either now "seeing the light" or she gets in trouble and already in the process of trying to move over to another place.
I would say her ability to stop the looney bin mass histeria agenda would be her best shot of possibly lending a job elsewhere.

Though of course all of this is completely unevidenced personal opinion.

I remember when I was a kid, adults were all up in arms over the violence in Bugs Bunny and Road Runner cartoons. Yet no one I knew ever dropped an anvil on someone else's head.

The names change, but the hysteria stays the same.

Also on the actual topic, Lewis Black (also on stewart) did wonders by giving a review of some of the past people on dancing with the stars and how their appearance could affect young children.

Anyone got a clip? Couldn't find any and last time I edited and loaded to youtube it was blocked.

That's only because no one knew where to get an anvil.

Purely coincidence, no doubt.

You don't think they have producers or marketers who actually plan that sort of thing, do you?

Companies that advertise get to choose what time and during what shows thier commercials air.

The more popular the show or time slot the more they pay for advertising. That's why the commercials for Bud light come on at six to nine and commercials for "slap chop" come on at three in the AM .

I'm not sure if I want to look for this on the 'net or not...

I mean...boobs! ...but...Nancy Grace... :yikes:

I'm usually too much of a gentleman to disparage someone's sexuality, but I was reading an article on-line that mentioned her boob flash and provided a link to see a photo of the incident and I failed to click the link. I would have bet anything that I was incapable of passing up seeing a wardrobe malfunction (my index fingers involuntarily click links to boob flashes; it's kind of pavlovian).

Nancy Grace boobs are like her opinions to my subconscious - completely uninteresting.

I don't know what to think about her (Megyn Kelly) any more. She used to be one of the worst "anchors" they had, but lately she's been saying things that make sense to rational people.

Me too. I don't watch (nor like) Fox News but my parents have it on 24/7.

Anyway, one day President Obama made some kind of speech about a policy or something and she actually said something like he looked really good up there, very presidential and in control. I do remember her ending with the words "Good job!"

I also remember the horrified, I mean it: HORRIFIED looks on the co-anchors faces.

It was rather funny.

She will be fired soon.

I'm surprised she's not over that little incident.
