Still, if you assert that there IS evidence, then there is no absence of evidence, making the introduction of that maxim a puzzling non sequitur, and a pretty good sign that the person introducing it is not doing a good job of thinking carefully.

Nobody here has, as far as I know, attempted to 'prove' with or without any number of apostrophes around it, that your saucer gods do not exist. Unsubstantiated anecdotes require no such effort.

I have no answer for you, and your first question, as I feel it doesn't matter to the discussion at hand.

I'd further refer you to Rramjet's #'s. There are some 20-38% of sightings that have no mundane answer or solution. Your second question misrepresents the facts.
