If you wanted to test it scientifically, you'd need to do an epidemiological study in much the same way as smoking was found to be a factor in causing lung cancer. Somehow get statistics on pot usage amongst truthers and see how that compares to the estimated averages for their demographic.

Either that or get some lab rats, get half of them stoned, show them all some YouTube videos and take note of which ones start harassing public figures.
