The Unofficial Election 2016 Results Thread PLEASE

Nonsense. Sanders would have been slaughtered.

He probably would have well underperformed Clinton with minorities. In a way, that strategy seems like betting that he would have prevented the white vote gains by Trump. Not a very moral way to win.

That's one way to view it I guess... though I can't imagine many of those minorities that voted Clinton would have changed to Trump or not voted at all if it was Sanders instead.

I meant more that he would have gotten more of the vote because he also had a populist anti-establishment bent to his message and some of those people went to Trump when Sanders lost the primary. Further he was actually liked and seen as honest and trustworthy by most people while Clinton is a corrupt liar. Who turns out to vote for an uninspiring corrupt liar?

Last guess. I'm giving Trump and Hillary both 269 electoral votes. i did a CNN map and got that.

OK, then what? Electoral college votes till its 270/268?

Nope. Goes to the house and they put Donald in.

Tomorrow's analysis will focus on whether Trump won it or Clinton lost it. I'm going with the latter.

That's the thing about this election. The only reason it's even close either way is because they're both horrible candidates (and people IMO). A legitimate Republican candidate would have beaten Clinton by 30 points and probably won the electoral college with Reagan like numbers. And the same in reverse with a credible Democratic candidate.

I'll repeat my opinion I've had since Clinton and Trump sewed up their respective nominations. We're all ****** either way. :(

Then the house of representatives decides.

It is seriously over. Donald Trump will very likely actually be the President of the United States. I think it is more likely that he will be assassinated before the inauguration than Hillary pulls off the win.

SkepticTank, you can pick my avatar though I will wait to put it on till after the media calls it.

Guardian shows Dem: 49.4%, Rep: 47.1% right now.

That is popular vote, not Electoral college vote.

One note from earlier, someone asked about if Libertarians were spoilers. I said no, margins were too big.

There is an exception though: Florida. IF the Libertarian vote had gone to Hillary (not likely, but if it had), she would barely beat out Trump. Until the courts got involved and handed FL to the Republicans (again).

I respect a man of his word.

I've sent you the avatar by PM.

I am not without mercy. If you find it to be totally intolerable, maybe we could negotiate modifying it somehow. Let me know.

Right now Pennsylvania is just the opposite.
