Totally bizarre and nightmarish. It's actually difficult at times for me to believe this is all actually happening. Previously, most intelligent people -- including RFK, Jr.'s OWN family -- paid little to no attention to his irrational rantings about healthcare. Now he's in charge of it!

I think the point of her not resigning is the Trump admin can't force her to resign, i.e. fire her, either. She doesn't work for them, apparently.

And it was already mostly complete and ready to go because Tony Fauci had already developed the technology to allow rapid preparation and deployment of vaccines. They certainly did not start from scratch, that was 30 years previously. They just gave the technology a final polish and wipe down with a chamois before running it out of the showroom and onto the road. Hence the name "Warp Speed".

But even though Trump was allowed "take all the credit" for something he had no practical part of whatsoever, of course he had to then go and ◊◊◊◊ all over the people who did the heavy lifting and were generous and patient with him. What an absolute low-life flying turd Trump is.

RFK Jr did not have the authority to fire her (because she was appointed by the US President and then confirmed by the Senate). The US President does have that authority, and it seems he has indeed fired her.
 
Aside from that, how often is RFK walking through airports, and why if he is? Though I suppose if he wants somewhere to walk where he's fairly sure nobody will take the opportunity to blow his worm-infested brains out, perhaps an airport is the only place left.
