The Truth about RFK Jr

At Inside Medicine Jeremy Faust reported on the reductions in force at CDC this weekend. Dr. Faust wrote, "After thousands of CDC employees received Friday night notifications that they would be placed on administrative leave as part of the latest round of reductions in force (RIFs), at the hands of the Trump administration, at least some have had those notices rescinded, Inside Medicine has learned from multiple sources within or closely associated with the agency." CNN has also covered this story.

‘The damage is beyond repair’: The CDC is facing another round of deep staff cuts (CNN, Oct 11, 2025)
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suffered another round of deep staff cuts late Friday, with disease detectives, outbreak forecasters, policy and data offices among those impacted, according to four sources with knowledge of the layoffs.
“The administration did not like that CDC data did not support their narrative, so they got rid of them. They didn’t like that CDC policy groups would not rubber stamp their unscientific ideas, so they got rid of them,” according to an agency official who asked to not be named for fear of losing their job.

RFK Jr. lays off over 1,000 doctors and scientists amid shutdown (MSNBC on YouTube, Oct 12, 2025 - 9:20 min.)
MSNBC’s Brandy Zadrozny reports that Health Secretary RFK Jr. fired more than 1,000 employees from the Department of Health and Human Services Friday night. The move comes as Trump’s health faces public scrutiny following his second routine medical appointment this year.

They should stay out nonetheless. If they haven't been admin leave then they can be on sick leave. Ironic!

There's a simple solution to all this. Just divide the MMR shots into three separate shots by producing them with three different labels for mumps, measles and rubella. Same formula in every vial, just different names. Oh, and reduce the shot to one third the volume per dose, so as not to "overload the little kiddies with buckets of harm". ;)

No MAGA is going to know they are the same. They don't know what's in them now! The active component in vaccines is only a tiny fraction of the volume injected. There's no need for testing either - these are all already-approved, safe medications. The kids will get vaccinated as before, and the dimwits will be none the wiser. The only change will be the kiddies getting three times as many jabs as before, just like all the anti-vaxx crowd didn't want. LOL
The problem with separating the vaccines out is that it will cause the vaccination rate to be lowered. Instead of two doses each child will now need six doses to get the same protection spread out over a much longer time period. Even without all the anti-vaxx nonsense, which would be greatly amplified, the rate of vaccination will decrease; parents won't have the same time to bring their children to the doctor/clinic, children will get sick and miss appointments, there'll be more time to get misinformed and so on.

At Science-based Medicine David Gorski discussed aluminum adjuvants for some vaccines: "I will conclude, as I do in all these posts, by simply stating yet again that RFK Jr. is definitely coming for your vaccines—all vaccines. Anyone denying it is whispering past the graveyard…of vaccines. You don’t appoint antivaxxers like Christopher Shaw and Christopher Exley to a working group under the leadership of longtime antivax activist Lyn Redwood if you aren’t looking to manufacture “scientific evidence” to justify eliminating access to vaccines that include aluminum adjuvants. Add them to the rogues’ gallery of antivax sycophants, toadies, and lackeys from both the distant and recent antivax past that RFK Jr. has appointed to ACIP and to powerful positions in HHS, and the conclusion that it won’t be long before access to a number of vaccines will disappear, either as a result of regulatory actions or as a de facto result of changes in policy and regulation."

You missed the point that even one vaccination does the job. So even if these pontlessly-worried parents halved the schedule rate thinking that would save their poor kids from vaccine overload, the job will still be done properly.

That's only true, of course, as long as the plot remains undisclosed. What a pathetic situation we're in here, where we must essentially trick the idiot parents into believing they honor the insane nonsense of their leaders, because we won't or can't defy their murderous quackery with truth, so, while perhaps hoping in vain that the mandatory ignorance of our time will be magically reversed during some finite lifetimes, we're left mainly with the unfortunate fact that it's preferable for the children of idiots to grow up like their parents than not to grow up at all.

This "trick" is exactly how homeopathy is pushed today. Trillions of sugar pills and plain water masquerading as "medicine", manufactured by "Big Pharma", is eagerly bought and downed by millions of gullible idiots. So why not use the same delivery vehicle to actually do something right for these people, medically.

At Medium Jess Steier discussed aluminum adjuvants in the context of a recent Danish study, one which RFK Jr asked to be retracted. Dr. Gorski (see comment #2767) cited Dr. Steier's article. Dr. Steier wrote, "When you run dozens of statistical tests (as any comprehensive study must), you expect some results to cross the significance threshold by random chance alone. This is a well-known occurrence in statistics known as the “multiple comparisons problem”. A single weakly significant finding in one subgroup, which is inconsistent across other groups, is noise, not a real signal. In simpler terms, if you flip enough coins, some will land on heads five times in a row because of luck, not because the coin is biased towards heads."

Dr. Steier continued, "The amount of aluminum in vaccines is minuscule compared to other sources. Infants consume more aluminum through breast milk and formula than they receive from their entire vaccine schedule. Some antacids contain more aluminum in a single dose than the entire childhood vaccine series combined."

I would like to make a general comment about the toxicity of elements. The chemical form of an element within a given molecule is important; ethyl mercury versus methyl mercury is a good example. Related to this is that the oxidation state of a given atom is important in its toxicity, both in terms of its mechanism of action and its potency. A link to a discussion of the toxicity of arsenic at different oxidation states is here. The oxidation state is a bookkeeping device related to the number of electrons that an atom in a molecule has versus how many electrons it has as a free, electrically-neutral species. The oxidation state of arsenic for example could be the same in one compound versus another, or it could be different. My point is that when we discuss aluminum or mercury in vaccines, it is desirable to specify the chemical form as much as possible.

That's far too complicated. Mercury Bad.

How can it be too complicated? These anti-vaxers do their own research! They must be intelligent and well-informed! :sarcasm: ;)

Seriously, thanks for the post, Chris, and for spending a lot of time and effort in all your posts on ISF. You provide a lot of valuable and important information that helps the rest of us understand what's going on.

Oh, I'm not saying it shouldn't be done. The dog takes a pill hidden in a burger too. I'm just saying that it's a sad commentary on what we've come to.

At Respectful Insolence Orac discussed the recent press conference. He wrote, "Of course, as I’ve written more times than I can remember, there is a huge difference between the number of diagnoses of a condition and the true prevalence of a condition. Whenever I discuss how the increased prevalence of autism diagnoses can be explained by changes in the diagnostic criteria, increased awareness and screening, increased acceptance, and increased access to services over the last three-plus decades, I like to point to other examples of conditions and diseases whose apparent prevalence has increased enormously just due to screening, even without any broadening of diagnostic criteria."
