Once he gets rid of vaccination there will be a lot fewer people living long enough to qualify for Medicare, so that'll be huge cost savings right there!

True, but if they have polio then wouldn't they also be drain on Medicaid while treated in the ironlung (or modern-day equivalent)? Swings and roundabouts...

According to those who have worked with him, Trump is highly sensitive to how he is perceived. There is a podcast with Scaramucci on Youtube. If you embarass him, you are out. RFK has been left to his own devices so Trump loses nothing.

I think he is definitely sensitive to how he is perceived, but usually that is things like “he’s not a billionaire” or “he has small hands” or “he ruined his businesses”. He likes the idea that he is extremely successful. I don’t think he makes the connection that the person he appoints is shown to be an idiot. He hires idiots as a matter of course. He even employs people he himself has called idiots. He even picked a vice president who called him Hitler.

Maybe what we think should be embarrassing is very different for him. He can’t not know RFK is a nut.

You are again distorting RFK Jr.'s position on vaccines. I bet you've never deigned to read anything he has written on the subject. I also bet you've read none of the critical research on vaccines written by medical experts.

Here's a truth for you: a bunch of the senators who are attacking him on this issue have taken huge donations from Big Pharma. Gee, what a coincidence.

You can't seem to grasp the factual, logical point that people can raise valid questions about the safety of vaccines and can want higher testing standards for vaccines without being against vaccination in principle and without opposing every single vaccine.

So why can't he just say he wants higher testing standards for vaccines instead of spouting things that are factually wrong and crazy?
