Yes. And, as was pointed out after, if it were to be put into action, it wouldn't be about Hillary. It would be about all those people who are still happy to chant "Lock her up!" Also, it should be quick given that they should already have all the relevant information at hand from the investigating that was already done. A bit separately, officially rechecking the work of a person on a case who officially was fired because of their mishandling of the case is quite a reasonable thing to do.

Yeah. Pretty much. Thanks Republican Party! In an odd move for me, I'm starting to favor calling most of the current Republicans sheeple and the party itself the Sheep Party. It's pretty sad that I'm at that point, I think, given that I have family and friends who are Republicans and are rather intelligent people... until subjects that have been affected by partisan politics come up. It's not about having different opinions, incidentally, but how moronic the arguments that they start employing are. Add to that the rather incredible difference in approval of 22% for Obama doing something and 84% for Trump doing pretty much the exact same thing.

The chaos in the WH is mind boggling. This goes to show what happens when you put an incompetent POTUS in the job.

On the other hand, what a spectacle ! I have eaten so much popcorn reading the news (in real life, not figuratively) that I have too much sugar in my blood now...

But the most fascinating are not the blunder. The most fascinating is the steps taken by the other WH guys to try to mop up, only to have Trump make their job harder, and the incredible dance the GOP is doing to avoid admitting that Trump's actions were not appropriate.

I will have to watch this on a low sugar diet, but I am thankful to Trump voters, I have not laughed to tears so much in a decade, and they gave a perfect example to the EU countries on what happen when you elect a populist moron.
